These are actual browser captures from the local app, not generated illustrations.

• starting-point.png: original Base64 record and decoded fictional password.
• expected-result.png: actual scrypt record and null Base64 recovery after repair, with correct-password acceptance.

Capture command from the repository root: node tooling/crypto-browser-smoke.mjs. Generated desktop and mobile views go to dist/crypto-preview; the desktop views are used here. Salt and hash strings vary on every repaired registration.

The inspector is a teaching-only view. Use only fictional passwords. These images are references, not substitutes for a student's own before/after evidence.
